Comprehensive Nursing
Our services are administered by an expert staff of compassionate professionals. As our team collaborates for the best possible goals our nursing department provides excellent care combined with dignity for our residents. Professionally staffed around the clock, we give your loved one comfort and specialized care.
Long-term Care
Residents will be involved in therapy as prescribed by their physician as well as immersed in daily activities to stimulate their social and emotional well-being. Residents will be supported by our staff to meet all of their personal care needs. These Activities of Daily Living can include bathing, dressing, using the toilet, transferring to or from bed or chair, caring for incontinence, eating, and medication reminders.
Diabetes Management
Our experienced nurses provide help with all aspects of managing diabetes including blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration and tracking, exercise planning, menu planning, education, and more.
Dietary Program
Our dietary program is designed to meet the dietary and physician-ordered needs of each resident in our care. To ensure that each resident is receiving the proper nutritional needs we offer meals to meet specific dietary and therapeutic needs, according to physician orders, oral supplemental, as prescribed by each physician, and regular nutritional assessments from our registered dietitian.
Activities
A positive and uplifting atmosphere can set the tone for a resident’s stay. Here at Wheaton Village, each resident is given a calendar to keep them informed of upcoming events such as birthday parties, movies, musical programs, outings, and other special events. We want our residents to stay as social and active as they can be.
Social Services
Our social services team assists both residents and their families during transitional periods. We also provide essential information, manage requests and concerns, help in care planning, and manage discharge planning for each resident.

Our rehabilitation program focuses on the mental and physical aspects of each resident to develop a comprehensive rehabilitation plan. Our team works on improving physical strength, performing activities of daily living, and managing any mental health needs. Wheaton Village offers the unique advantage of having a team that continually monitors the medical and psychological progress of each resident.
Our physical, occupational, and speech therapists are available 7 days a week! We offer a wide range of clinical rehabilitation programs with an onsite therapy room including neurological and stroke care, post cardiac care, orthopedic care, pulmonary care, and wound care.
